During our trip back home we had the pleasure of visiting Justin's grandmother at her home in Bateseville, Arkansas. As soon as I walked in, I could feel all the memories the house held. I immediately felt compelled to start documenting the home.
Those close to us will know, Nanny is currently battling cancer. She's a true fighter, but it's taking its toll and sadly she is no longer able to live in her home. I'm so glad that we were able to visit her there and soak in all the love the house built over the years.
To me, it was the epitome of grandmas house. Family photos, vintage decor, stained wood, sheer draperies..
I hope these photos convey the same feelings I felt being in the home. I loved every little detail.
This doorway opened to a little staircase that led to a small separate living space. Justin told me this was the room they spent Christmas mornings, with a tree positioned right infront of the front window.

If you believe in prayer, please send one up for Nanny. Pray for comfort for her and peace for her family. If you aren't one to pray, send some positive energy her way and to her children during this difficult time❤️
