Hi there! I haven't posted in what seems like forever (I say that just about every time I post), but I am excited to get back to my blog after a little hiatus. We just got back from a two week trip to Missouri and it feels sooooo good to be back home. Well, really Missouri is home, but our house is here and nothing beats your own bed!!
Before our trip, I reached out to Babyzen about their YOYO stroller because I thought it would be perfect for our travels, but since it was shipping from France, it didn't arrive in time for the trip (insert crying into palms). But it was waiting for me when we got back and I just couldn't wait an extra day before taking it out for a spin!! I can't be the only mom who gets totally PUMPED for new baby gear. Strollers are like sports cars for moms. Can someone please start a stroller rental company?? Like where you can rent a luxury stroller for a day of shopping or when you're traveling? Million dollar idea people!!
Anyway, we decided to spend the day in Seattle and explore a little with the kids. Justin was our photographer for the day and he did so good!!!
When I was pregnant with Miller I debated whether or not to get a double stroller and ultimately decided to just get a new single thinking that Navy would be old enough to walk on her own (eye roll). Since then I've basically wished every day that I had a double or at least a ride along board. When I saw that the YOYO had a sit/stand attachment AND was a perfect travel stroller, I was obsessed. I didn't need a new full size, but was in the market for a good lightweight stroller! Check out their Instagram for videos of how easy it is to fold, unfold and store!
My only qualm about the stroller is that the handle bar is kind of hard to reach with the ride-along board attached. I couldn't find a way to extend it, but maybe I'm missing something?? Other than that, it's pretty much perfect and super maneuverable!
After we finished downtown, we ended our day with some Molly Moon's! If you haven't had their honey lavender ice cream, go now. Just get up, throw on your birks, hop on your moped and goooo.
Thanks for stopping by!
