How I Use Essential Oils

Hellooooo friends! Remember me? I really fell off the wagon, huh? I swear from the moment the season started I have just been running around like a chicken with its head cut off (ew, what?). I literally haven't blogged in months! I had big plans about writing up a long detailed "Intro to Essential Oils" post, but that just didn't happen! I also thought I was really gunna jump head first into selling YL, but the truth is I just don't have the energy lol. So instead I'm just gunna share my favorite ways to use essential oils. Also, I'm gunna be honest and tell you I don't mix these in exact amounts. Most of the time I just eyeball it. Here we gooooo

Multi-purpose spray cleaner

  •  amber spray bottle
  • 1-2 Tbs castile soap
  • 20-30 drops of Thieves essential oil

*for a heavier duty spray cleaner, use white vinegar rather than castile soap (not for countertops)

Beauty Serum

  • amber glass dropper bottler
  • organic jojoba oil
  • organic almond oil
  • organic fractioned coconut oil
  • 5 drops frankincense
  • 5 drop lavender
  • 5 drops tea tree oil
  • 5 drops grapefruit oil

Muscle/Joint pain relief

  • organic carrier oil

  • any combination of the following: chamomile, lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, clove, cypress, wintergreen, bergamot, ginger, francincense

*I applied peppermint and lavender to Justin's ankle sprain and he swears it helped with the inflammation

Now, I could list off 10 more from-scratch recipes of ways to use oils, but the truth is I prefer more of the ready-made YL products. I will go ahead and list them in case you're curious.

  • Deep Relief roller ball - roll on neck and shoulders for tension relief
  • Sleepyize - diffuse 3-4 drops in diffuser in kids rooms before naptime/bedtime
  • Ortho Sport Massage Oil - great for back massages or anywhere you have sore muscles
  • Thieves Household cleaner - dilute 2 Tbs in 16oz spray bottle for multi-surface cleaning
  • Thieves laundry detergent
  • Thieves Automatic Dishwasher powder
  • Seedlings baby oil - applied as moisturizer after baths

Okay now I'm hungry so I'm gunna end this here. Sorry nothing is linked, I don't know what I'm doing.
